Piece of Peace UNESCO World Heritage Exhibit

About Piece Of Peace

Since the first edition in Japan in 2003, this charity project is a tribute to UNESCO World Heritage Activities and was borne out of a desire to create a fun event that inspires aspirations for a peaceful world. This aspiration is articulated in the slogan “From World Heritage to the Familiar — Treasures to Pass on to Future Generations.”

Featuring 43 World Heritage Sites from 35 countries that are reconstructed using LEGO® bricks, the exhibition highlights include LOVE EARTH, LOVE ASIA, LOVE ASEAN and LOVE PEOPLE.

Interactive and participation zones Brick By Brick and LEGO® activity areas allows visitors to indulge their creative flair and be part of a large-scale community art project.

7 newly commissioned recreations of World Heritage Sites found in ASEAN countries will be on display for the first time.

This brings to a total of 9 ASEAN World Heritage SItes on display; as the The 2017 Singapore Edition commemorates ASEAN’s 50th Anniversary.

Singapore is the first ASEAN country to host this exhibition and this Piece of Peace World Tour will NOT return to Singapore.
